Description: The RSVP program serves the community and senior volunteers. No matter what your skills, experience, education, trade or profession, RSVP is a place where you can spend your time actively, with dignity and purpose. If you are 55 years of age or older, you will have the opportunity to share your wisdom, talent and time with others in your community who need you and your commitment.
Volunteer Opportunities: Opportunities are flexible based on volunteers' interests and the time they have to give. Among their many assignments, RSVP volunteers:
- Provide food for the homeless and hungry
- Help local law enforcement make our communities safer
- Help prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters. Link to Association of Volunteer Emergency Response Teams
- Change lives by mentoring and tutoring young people
- Help the frail elderly maintain their independence and dignity
- Work in museums, hospitals and as consumer and legal advocates
- Assist with special projects
- And much more!
Volunteer Requirements: Must be 55 years of age or older
