Rides to life-sustaining medical appointments and essential destinations

If you or someone you know needs transportation assistance to essential destinations such as dialysis, chemotherapy, physical therapy, prescription pick up and medical appointments, the Senior Transportation Program can help.
Our specialized program is designed to help older adults in Salt Lake County get where they need to go. We utilize sedans for most of our transport with wheelchair accessible mini-vans available as well. Our program also has larger vans for group grocery shopping trips for those who are unable to find another way to the store. Many of our customers use our services year round, while others just need our help during winter months or for long trips across the Salt Lake Valley.
Our customers must be 60 years of age or older and lack other transportation options. Eligibility screening is done over the telephone; to enroll in our Program and Schedule your ride call 468-2464.
Rides are provided between 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; and on Thursday between 9:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Rides can be scheduled up to one week in advance. Our office sends out monthly donation statements; a one dollar donation is suggested for each trip.
