Program DescriptionMake a difference - volunteer with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) serves the community by recruiting older adults as volunteers. No matter what your skills, experience, education, trade or profession, RSVP is a program where you can volunteer your time actively, with dignity and purpose.

If you are 55 years of age or older, you will have the opportunity to share your wisdom, talent and time with others in your community.
Volunteer Opportunities Opportunities are flexible based upon the volunteer’s interests and time availability. Among their many assignments, RSVP Volunteers:
  • Provide food for the homeless and hungry
  • Help prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters
  • Change lives by mentoring and tutoring young people
  • Help the frail elderly maintain their independence and dignity
  • Work in museums, hospitals, and as consumer and legal advocates
  • Assist with special projects
  • And much, much more
Volunteer Requirements
  • Be at least 55 years of age
  • Some volunteer opportunities require that you pass an extensive background check
Benefits Volunteer benefits include supplemental insurance coverage and an annual recognition.
