Become a Healthy Aging Volunteer!
Program DescriptionMake a difference - volunteer with the Healthy Aging Program Healthy Aging volunteers help provide a wide variety of health screenings throughout Salt Lake County. They include, but are not limited to, monthly blood pressure/ blood sugar testing, flu and pneumonia shots, foot care, bone density screening, and overall health assessments.

If you have medical related skills and are interested in participating as a volunteer, please contact us.
Volunteer Opportuntities Medical background, current nursing license, podiatry background. Retired nurses welcome. Hours vary depending on type of screening being given.

The Healthy Aging Program is also looking for volunteers to help seniors learn and improve English language skills.
Volunteer Requirements No previous experience is necessary and it is not necessary to speak another language.
Training and Support Training and support provided by the program’s Clinical Coordinator and/or ESOL Coordinator.
