Welcome to the Salt Lake County Aging Services Caregiver Support program! Caregiving is truly like a long road or journey - and your situation is likely to change over time.
Whether you're early into caregiving, helping with such things as errands, home repairs, and shopping or whether you're now providing personal care and live-in home nursing, you need two main things: Information and Respite. We hope you will find some of the answers you need on the pages of this website.

In addition to the links and options offered here, we encourage you to call The Caregiver Support program at (801) 468-2460 for one-on-one assistance in care planning and management. We also offer support groups and classes (either in the community or at worksites).
This program is funded through federal, state, and county taxes. There is no charge to family caregivers. Limited respite and supplemental services are also available.
As you navigate your journey as a caregiver, glance into the rearview mirror and look back on how far you’ve come... give yourself credit for the patience and resilience you’ve learned. Look back and remind yourself you’re doing a great job!
The Caregiver Support Program is a great resource on your Road to Caregiving. Best wishes for a good journey.
